Rowing is a fantastic club sport for teenagers. It teaches self reliance, team work, sportsmanship, how to get up in the morning and it is a LOT of fun. It is a great exercise using all the major muscle groups in the body, so you will get in shape if you aren’t already.
OIR offers a competitive junior rowing program.
- There are two seasons.
- Both are open to teenagers from age 13 through 18 or older if still in high school.
- This is a coed program
- We will teach you how to row which is a skill that will be with you for life.
- This is a competitive program but it is totally inclusive and we will find a place for everybody and help you be your best whatever your abilities.
